Born on 1st September 1988 and raised in Bengaluru, Mr. Rajesh K completed his schooling at St. Joseph's High School, pursued his Pre-University education at Cauvery Composite PU College, earned a Bachelor of Engineering from REVA University, and later completed his Master's in Business Management from Amity University.
His professional journey began with Tech Mahindra, where he gained valuable corporate exposure and developed a deep understanding of industry expectations. However, his entrepreneurial spirit soon encouraged him to explore opportunities beyond the corporate world.
Driven by a passion for innovation, leadership, and execution, he co-founded Aspire Woods in 2011, an integrated event management and entertainment company specializing in corporate events, movie promotions, brand marketing, and celebrity engagements. The company successfully executed several high-profile projects and collaborated with the renowned Crescent Cricket Cup, hosting celebrity cricket matches featuring Bollywood and Tollywood stars.
His entrepreneurial journey continued through ventures such as Grahak Mantra and his leadership role as Business Head at Fuel Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he strengthened his expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, and organizational growth.
Yet, despite building successful ventures, a greater purpose awaited him.
Joining a Legacy, Creating a Vision
In 2018, Mr. Rajesh K joined the Jyothy Group as a Governing Council Member of Jyothy Institute of Technology (JIT).
For many, this would have been an opportunity to manage an existing institution. For him, it became an opportunity to create something transformative.
He envisioned an educational ecosystem that would go beyond degrees and examinations—an institution that would prepare students for careers, leadership, entrepreneurship, and life itself.
This vision led to the establishment of Jyothy Institute of Commerce and Management (JICM) in 2020.
What began with a modest strength of 40 students has evolved into a thriving academic community of over 1,200 students within just five years. However, growth in numbers was never the ultimate goal. His focus has always been on building an institution that remains relevant, innovative, and future-focused.
